The Union County Gun Range is located near Blairsville in Union County. The range opened in June 2024 offering a new public shooting range for citizens in northeast Georgia.

This range, offering covered rifle and pistol shooting pavilions, was developed, and primarily funded, with the assistance of the Georgia DNR's Wildlife Resources Division through the Wildlife Restoration Program, and is managed and operated by Union County (daily and annual rates or memberships available).

The Two Rivers Gun Range is located in Camden County. Established in 2021, the Two Rivers Gun Range is a new sport shooting facility available to the public in southeast Georgia. This range, offering rifle and pistol shooting opportunities, was developed with the assistance of the Georgia DNR's Wildlife Resources Division, and is managed and operated by Camden County (daily rates or memberships available). Please note that Green Tip or armor piercing ammo is not allowed at the range.

The Ranges at Oakfield is located in Thomas County. Established in 2020, the Ranges at Oakfield is a new sport shooting facility available to the public in southwest Georgia. This range, offering rifle, pistol and shotgun opportunities, was developed with the assistance of the Georgia DNR's Wildlife Resources Division, and is managed and operated by Thomas County (daily rates or memberships available). Please note that Green Tip or armor piercing ammo is not allowed at the range.

The Coosawattee-Carter's Lake Archery Range is located on Carter's Lake Wildlife Management Area in Murray County.

The Rock Hawk/Oconee Archery Range is located on Oconee Wildlife Management Area in Putnam County. There are static targets and a 3-D trail within walking distance.

The Paradise Archery Range, which opened Sept. 3, 2018, is located on Paradise PFA in Berrien County. It is a static range featuring five lanes from 10–50 yards in length.

The Pinetucky Gun Club Shooting Range is located in Richmond County. Established in 1986, Pinetucky is one of the most complete sport shooting facilities in the Southeast, if not the country. This range is made possible by a partnership with Pinetucky Gun Club Shooting Range and the Georgia DNR's Wildlife Resources Division.

The Unicoi State Park Air Rifle Range is located in Unicoi State Park & Lodge in White County. Instruction opportunities are available. This range is made possible by a partnership with the Georgia DNR's State Parks and Historic Sites Division and Wildlife Resources Division.

The Unicoi Archery Range is located in Unicoi State Park & Lodge in White County. Instruction opportunities are available. This range is made possible by a partnership with the Georgia DNR's State Parks and Historic Sites Division and Wildlife Resources Division.
