Oconee Wildlife Management Area is a 7,400-acre area located in Greene, Hancock, and Putnam Counties in east-central Georgia. Typical of Piedmont landscapes, the area consist largely of rolling hills interspersed with creeks. It also borders Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair created by the impoundment of the Oconee River. Habitat types include mixed pine/hardwoods, pure hardwood, and planted pine stands. Wildlife openings consists of fallow fields, planted food plots, and timber clear-cuts. The area offers hunting opportunities for deer, turkey, small game, and dove.

Located in the Piedmont region, Joe Kurz Wildlife Management Area is 3,700 acres and offers hunting opportunities for deer, turkey, small game, dove and quail.

Located near Macon, Echeconnee Creek Wildlife Management Area covers 690 acres. This WMA provides archery hunting opportunities for deer, turkey and small game. Public access to Ocmulgee River tract is only by boat. No camping allowed on the property.

Located in Mansfield, Clybel WMA sits on 6,400 acres and is home to the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center. Visitors of all ages can find something to do at this WMA, from visiting the nature center to walking the miles of trails.

Marben Public Fishing Area is located within Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center and Clybel WMA, a 6,400-acre area with 20 different ponds, ranging in size from 1 to 95 acres. The ponds are intensively managed for fishing and offer anglers the opportunity to fish for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Crappie, and Redear Sunfish.

Blanton Creek Wildlife Management Area is located in Harris County. This 4,800-acre property has opportunities for quality deer, turkey, small game, dove and waterfowl hunting.

Big Lazer Creek Wildlife Management Area is located in Talbot and Upson counties. This 7,200-acre property offers hunting opportunities for deer, turkey, small game and waterfowl.
