BPI Outdoors Donation Supports Georgia DNR OBB Program

SOCIAL CIRCLE, Ga

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division (DNR WRD) recently received a donation of rifles and shotguns from BPI Outdoors to enhance the Outdoors Beyond Barriers (OBB) program.

The donated firearms will be used at future OBB hunting and shooting events.

“Georgia DNR values partnerships that expand outdoor opportunities and help make Georgia’s natural resources accessible to everyone. BPI Outdoors’ generous donation is a great example of that shared commitment,” said DNR Commissioner Walter Rabon. “These firearms will be a great addition to the adaptive equipment and other tools available through the Outdoor Beyond Barriers program, allowing our participants to create lifelong memories.”

The Outdoors Beyond Barriers program seeks to encourage, educate, and empower people of all abilities to connect with nature by providing gateways for them to enjoy hunting, fishing, and other recreational opportunities. The OBB program teaches skills and provides the necessary tools to become independent users of Georgia’s natural resources.

“BPI Outdoors is proud to support Georgia DNR’s Outdoors Beyond Barriers program and its work to make hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation more accessible to people of all abilities,” said Scot Fischer, CEO of BPI Outdoors. “As a Georgia-based outdoor company, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to enjoy our state’s natural resources. We are honored to help expand those opportunities within the communities we call home.”
