One of Georgia's newest public fishing areas, Hugh M. Gillis boasts a 109-acre lake set among the coastal plains. The PFA offers anglers an abundance of Flier, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, and Redear Sunfish.
This PFA also offers opportunities for deer and turkey hunting. The camping area and trails are closed during hunts. Please check the Hunting Regulations for more information.
New! Catch a big fish at a Public Fishing Area and you may be eligible for an Angler Award or even a PFA Record award. Learn more about Angler Awards.
