Three lakes provide varying angling opportunities. Lake Buncombe is open to all anglers, is accessible by the bank or boat, and has a good population of bass and bluegill. Small Lake Liberty has bank access and is stocked with channel catfish for children’s and seniors’ fishing rodeos. Federal Lake is the largest and is open only to cottage and group camp guests. Jon boats are available for rent to access bass, bluegill and catfish in this lake. A valid Georgia Fishing License and ParkPass are required. (Information provided by OnTheFlySouth.com.)
