Mike Commander Archery Range

The Mike Commander Archery Range is located on Chickasawhatchee Wildlife Management Area in Dougherty County. The WMA also includes Mike Commander Shooting Range.

Mike Commander Archery Range reopened on March 31, 2021 after a complete renovation of the 7-position static archery range that extends from 10–50 yards, a 4-position archery tower that ranges from 20–50 yards for the bowhunter enthusiast, and a 3D archery trail with 20 different target positions. The range also offers a classroom that seats around 40 participants reserved for hunter education classes, organizational programs and training, and much more.

From Albany: From the intersection of Highway 91 (Newton Road) and Highway 243 (Oakridge Road), travel south on Highway 91 approximately 4.7 miles. Turn right on Highway 62 (Leary Road) and travel west 11.6 miles. Turn left at the intersection of Highway 62 and Pine Island Road onto dirt WMA access road. Travel 0.3 miles to the range.
