Renovation IconNOTICE: The Rocky Hammock Landing Boat Ramp on Flat Tub WMA is closed for construction. Only the ramp and immediate vicinity are affected; the remainder of the WMA will remain open. Alternate accessible boat ramp locations including the Flat Tub Landing (water levels vary and may restrict usage) in Flat Tub WMA, and the Scuffle Bluff Landing across the river in Horse Creek WMA. Another alternate access point is Barr’s Bluff, about 4–5 miles away on the same side of the river.

The Flat Tub Wildlife Management Area encompasses 7,141 acres of state-owned land. The WMA consists of approximately 5,641 acres of upland pine/hardwood forest and 1,500 acres of hardwood drains and river bottomland.

There are 4 main access points:

  • directly off GA Highway 107
  • along Flat Tub Landing Road
  • on Dan Kirkland and Piney Grove Church roads

Boat ramps are located at the end of the Flat Tub Landing Road and Rocky Hammock Landing Road. Please do not block gates and keep all vehicles on open improved roads. This WMA is open to hunting for deer, turkey, squirrel, and waterfowl. No ATVs allowed on the property.
