Outdoor Beyond Barriers: Freshwater Fishing

A man in a wheelchair casts a fishing pole on the bank of a lake.

The Outdoors Beyond Barriers (OBB) initiative emphasizes removing obstacles for people with mobility impairments to help them connect with nature, explore the outdoors, and take part in activities like hunting and fishing that may have previously been unavailable.

Outdoors Beyond Barriers is open to all anglers who would qualify for a disability fishing license. You may apply for disability licenses at GoOutdoorsGeorgia.com. Anglers who qualify, but choose to use a regular license, simply have to show that they meet the qualifications.
