The 143-acre Pleasant Valley VPA is a partnership between the local landowner and the Georgia DNR, WRD to provide public hunting access. This annual lease provides adult child deer, migratory bird and rabbit/squirrel hunting opportunities. Hunters utilizing this area for deer hunting should be sure to check their game using Georgia Game Check and select the Private Land option.

Voluntary Public Access Area

Pleasant Valley is a Voluntary Public Access (VPA) property. Since 2014, the Wildlife Resources Division has been able to enhance and add to its WMA program through additional temporary agreements with private landowners for public hunting opportunities thanks to a USDA grant.
