The Georgia Veterans Air Rifle Range is located in Georgia Veterans State Park & Resort in Crisp County. The range is available for rental for private events. The range does not rent out equipment except for events, lessons and clinics. Children must be under parental supervision at all times.

Collins Road VPA is a 354-acre area that will provide both rabbit and bird dog training opportunities.

Hunt Dates & Information:

Rogers State Prison Farm Dove Fields is a 538-acre property near Reidsville. This area is open for dove hunting the first three Saturdays of dove season. No ATVs or UTVs allowed on the fields. Hunting is prohibited within 100 yards of a residence or 50 yards from county roads. This dove field is only open during quota hunt dates.

Directions

From Reidsville: Take GA Highway 147 approximately 6.5 miles to intersection with Highway 178. Turn left on Highway 178 and go 1.5 miles to dirt road on the right that leads to entrance of Field 1 and the parking area.

Indian Ford Farms Dove Field is a 100-acre property located near Lyons in Toombs County. Hunting opportunities include a Youth Quota Dove Hunt. Hunters must sign-in at the check station at 12:00 p.m. Maps and instructions will be provided at sign-in. Hunts are from 12:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. No ATVs. Hunters must use open gates to access fields.

This dove field is only open during quota hunt dates.

The Appling County Dove Field is 110 acres of dove fields open the first three Saturdays of dove season.

Voluntary Public Access Area

Appling County Dove Field is a Voluntary Public Access (VPA) property. Since 2014, the Wildlife Resources Division has been able to enhance and add to its WMA program through additional temporary agreements with private landowners for public hunting opportunities thanks to a USDA grant.

Sparks Cut Off is a-340 acre property with opportunity for deer, turkey and small game hunting. Hunters utilizing this area for deer or turkey hunting should be sure to check their game using Georgia Game Check and select Public Land option, Cook County, and then Sparks Cut Off VPA.

Lola Tract VPA is a 391-acre property near Stockton. Hunting opportunities include deer, bear, turkey and small game. Hunters utilizing this area for deer or turkey hunting should be sure to check their game using Georgia Game Check and select Public Land option, Lanier County, and then Lola Tract VPA.

The Dupont Tract is a 349-acre property located in Dupont. Hunting opportunities include deer, bear, turkey and small game. Hunters utilizing this area for deer or turkey hunting should be sure to check their game using Georgia Game Check and select Public Land option, Clinch County, and then Dupont Tract VPA.
