While the parents are away the kids will fish and play all day! This camp is designed for the young angler to master fishing regulations, knot tying, casting, and retrieval of multiple fish species. We will also dive into fish habitat, biology, and management with special guests and trips. Our week will culminate in a fishing tournament, but not before adding in a touch of that summer camp magic with the fishing fun!

On your mark, get set, go! Campers forge friendships through a series of high-energy activities, team-building exercises, and develop skills in outdoor pursuits such as canoeing, archery, wilderness survival and put wildlife knowledge to the test. The week will culminate in a competition utilizing the skills they’ve gained throughout their time together. This truly is a camp where teamwork makes the dream work!

ACE is a unique camp for middle school students focusing on wildlife conservation. Participants will spend five days learning via hands-on activities and day trips in the Piedmont region of Georgia. Campers will explore wildlife forensics by investigating wildlife crimes, hike Ohoopee Dunes, canoe local waterways, discover the granite outcrop ecosystem, and identify regional wildlife species. Thanks to a grant from The Environmental Resources Network, the cost of this educational experience is reduced.
