My computer has a problem. What do I do?

If you have a problem with your computer or software, follow the voice prompts to get to an appropriate representative.

The Service Representative will have questions to ask you. Provide as much information as you can. Describe the problem as accurately as possible.

You will be assigned a severity (SEV) level. Typically, this will be a SEV3 or SEV4 for problems that affect one person or a few people.

It is possible that the Service Representative will be able to help you while you are on the phone with them. If so, the Service Representative will provide you with a Service Request (SR) number. If your problem requires the assistance of a technician at your site, then you will also be given an Incident (IN) numberNote these numbers and keep track of them somewhere. You will need them if questions or issues arise.
