What is BOW?
Georgia Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) Program gives women of all ages and fitness levels a way to engage and explore the outdoors in new ways through the Annual Weekend Workshop and one day Beyond BOW (BBOW) classes. Coordinated in our state by the Wildlife Resources Division, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the workshop, and classes are hosted at various locations throughout the state and allow participants to develop hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreation skills, while also providing insight into the management and preservation of the natural, historical, and cultural resources of Georgia.
