The 143-acre Pleasant Valley VPA (Voluntary Public Access) area is a partnership between the local landowner and the Georgia DNR, WRD to provide public hunting access. This annual lease provides adult child deer, migratory bird and rabbit/squirrel hunting opportunities. Hunters utilizing this area for deer hunting should be sure to check their game using Georgia Game Check and select the Private Land option.

From Adairsville: Take Adairsville Pleasant Valley Rd.  east crossing under I-75. Turn right on East Pleasant Valley Rd. For east kiosk, continue 0.4 miles and kiosk will be on the right. For west kiosk, go 0.25 miles and turn right onto Pleasant Valley Rd. Cross over I-75 and then go 0.25 miles and kiosk will be one the left. 

Voluntary Public Access Area 

Pleasant Valley is a Voluntary Public Access (VPA) property. Since 2014, the Wildlife Resources Division has been able to enhance and add to its WMA program through additional temporary agreements with private landowners for public hunting opportunities thanks to a USDA grant.
