Georgia Coastal Management Program Approval of Routine Program Changes

On December 5, 2017, the Coastal Resources Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) submitted a request for concurrence to NOAA’s Office for Coastal Management (OCM) to incorporate recent changes to Enforceable Policies of the federally-approved Georgia Coastal Management Program, including the Game and Fish Code (Title 27) and DNR Rules and Regulations (Chapters 391-2-4, 391-4-2, 391-4-3, 391-4-7, 391-4-9, 391-4-10, and 391-4-14).  Public notices regarding this request were published on December 5, 2017 in the Brunswick and Savannah News describing the routine nature of the of the requested program changes.  The full request for Routine Program Changes may be viewed at http://coastalgadnr.org/GCMPProgramDocuments

On March 2, 2018, the State of Georgia received concurrence from OCM that the requested actions constituted routine program changes.  Federal Consistency will apply to all federal permits, direct federal activities and federally-funded activities affected by the approved changes as of March 9, 2018.
