General Information
Wildlife Resources Division is pleased to continue its series of programs focusing on the development of hunting skills and conservation knowledge.
Mission
The mission of the Hunt & Learn Program is to provide a conservation-based learning experience for new hunters that places emphasis on the future development of safe and ethical hunting skills.
We offer one to three-day Hunt & Learn programs that educate participants about hunting and conservation, along with an opportunity to hunt a specific game animal. Participants will have the chance to learn hunting tactics, game identification, and hunter safety from experts. Our Hunt & Learn courses are geared towards the new hunter with little to no hunting experience looking for a safe, educational learning environment. Both youth and adult programs are available to accommodate a wide range of ages. Once submitted, your application will go into a pool from which hunters will be selected. Youth participants will need to create their own DNR Customer Account and ID # to apply.
