Request for Proposals and Workshops for Coastal Incentive Grants FY2019-2020

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Coastal Resources Division (CRD), solicits proposals for Coastal Incentive Grants (CIG) awarded under the Georgia Coastal Management Program (GCMP). The following announcement provides background and describes funding priorities, selection criteria, and application procedures.
This Request for Proposals solicits projects that are related to the themes identified by the Coastal Advisory Council (CAC) for the FY2019-2020 Cycle 22 awards. Projects that are acceptable but for which there are no available funds may be awarded a CIG at a later date if funds become available. If selected, CIG Cycle 22 contracts will run for one year beginning October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. Applications will be accepted for two-year sub-grant requests with the second year of support contingent upon approval and receipt of federal funds. 

A workshop will be held Tuesday, October 9 at the College of Coastal Georgia, Camden Campus, room 241 from 10:00 a.m. until noon. On Wednesday, October  10, CRD staff will be presenting a workshop at the Susan Shipman Center at 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Brunswick CRD Headquarters located at One Conservation Way, Brunswick, GA. Monday, October 15, CRD will present the training workshop in Savannah, GA from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Metropolitan Meeting Commission office located at 110 E. State Street.
