Proposed Regulations

General 

The purpose of General Regulations is to manage administrative functions of department managed lands not directly associated with hunting and fishing.

Interested citizens are encouraged to review the proposed amendments to general regulations related to the Georgia WRD Lands Pass. Comments on these proposed amendments may be submitted through any of these available methods.

Hunting

The purpose of hunting regulations is to manage Georgia’s game birds and game animals according to sound principles of wildlife management and to meet public objectives for use of these renewable natural resources. Changes to the existing rule reflect the need to add Camden county to those counties included in the southern bear zone.

Interested citizens are encouraged to review the proposed amendments to general regulations related to the Georgia WRD Lands Pass. Comments on these proposed amendments may be submitted through any of these available methods.

Anglers and other interested citizens are encouraged to review the proposed amendments to current Public Fishing Area regulations. Comments on these proposed amendments may be submitted through any of these available methods..
