Give It a Shot: Handgun 101 Classes Scheduled

Social Circle, GA
Monday, May 21, 2018 - 09:00

Little to no experience operating a handgun? We have a great opportunity for you with three free upcoming scheduled "Give It a Shot: Handgun 101" classes, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division (WRD).

This class, open to men and women age 12 years old and up, will focus on those with little to no experience in operating a handgun. Upon completion, participants will understand, and can demonstrate, how to safely handle, operate, maintain and store a handgun.

Attendees will only use .22 caliber handguns provided by WRD (participants will not need or be able to use personal handguns at this event).

Be sure to register soon as space is limited! Registration is required. Visit www.GoOutdoorsGeorgia.com, and search for the event. If you do not currently have a “Customer Account” at GoOutdoorsGeorgia, you will need to create one prior to registering for the class.
