Chattahoochee Fall Line WMA

Chattahoochee Fall Line Wildlife Management Area is located in Marion and Talbot Counties. Hunters utilizing this area for deer or turkey hunting should be sure to check their game using Georgia Game Check and select the Private Land option.

This WMA is made up of several different areas.


​Almo Area

6,700 acres. The Almo Area offers hunting opportunities for buck, turkey, small game and quail. No ATVs.


Blackjack Crossing Area

1,600 acres. The Blackjack Crossing Area offers archery hunting opportunities for deer, turkey and small game. No ATVs.


Brown Springs Tract

The Brown Springs tract offers archery hunting opportunities for deer, turkey and small game. No ATVs.


Fort Perry Area

2,100 acres. The Fort Perry Area offers hunting opportunities for deer, turkey, small game, dove and quail. No ATVs.


Hilliard Plantation Tract

8,100 acres. Hilliard Plantation offers the same hunting opportunities as the Blackjack Crossing Area, except under small game season fox squirrel hunting is prohibited. No ATVs or horses, and bicycles are not allowed except for the purpose of hunter access. Check kiosks daily for the prescribed burning schedule and locations.

Little Pine Knot Tract

NOTE: under Hillard Plantation regulations.

The Little Pine Knot tract is property under Hilliard Plantation regulations that offers hunting opportunities for deer, turkey and small game. No ATVs.


Ingram Tract

The Ingram Tract offers archery hunting opportunities for deer, turkey and small game. No ATVs.


WR Bean Tract

The WR Bean Tract offers archery hunting opportunities for deer, turkey and small game. No ATVs.
