Chapman Farm VPA is a 303-acre property comprised of 2 main tracts of land. Both tracts have a mixture of wooded areas and approximately 100-acres of agricultural fields. The fields were planted in soybeans and browntop millet in summer 2021 and a portion of the crop was left unharvested for manipulation during the late dove seasons.
Voluntary Public Access Area
Chapman Farm VPA is a Voluntary Public Access (VPA) property. Since 2014, the Wildlife Resources Division has been able to enhance and add to its WMA program through additional temporary agreements with private landowners for public hunting opportunities thanks to a USDA grant.
