Georgia Wildlife Resources Division
2070 U.S. Hwy. 278, SE, Social Circle, GA 30025
Wildlife Resources Division is pleased to continue its series of programs focusing on the development of hunting skills and conservation knowledge.
Children, ages 17 and under, and their supervisors are invited to a weekend of hunting and classes in a variety of skills-based and conservation-focused programs. Classes will include the appropriate basics of squirrel, deer, rabbit, quail, falconry or turkey hunting, how to care for harvested game, and more. Hunter Ed classes will be offered for anyone who has not yet taken the course. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time set aside for hunting!
Adults and children over 16 must possess current hunting licenses (see current state hunting regulations and fishing regulations for more information). For license purchasing information, click here.
Due to the popularity of the Hunt and Learn programs, we are now offering different levels and means of advancement for the programs.
All three level hunters can be accommodated at all Hunt and Learn programs. Participants must have completed Level 1 to advance to Level 2 and likewise to Level 3.
