Are you a recent Hunter Education graduate? Learn more about the NEW Three Month Range Pass for New Hunter Education Graduates [1]. When you pass the Hunter Education Course, your certification card doubles as a FREE three month pass at any Department of Natural Resources shooting range [2].
Two research studies are currently underway. Why might you be interested? Because you or someone in your household may be getting a phone call from this research company (Responsive Management [3]). The Georgia DNR, Wildlife Resources Division would like to request your assistance if a representative contacts you. Your responses are valuable to these projects and your time is greatly appreciated.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources has partnered with Responsive Management [3], a Virginia-based research firm, on a study examining motivations for hunter education enrollment and the most important “next step” guidance needed for hunter education graduates to become lifelong hunters.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources would like to notify hunter education students that they may receive a telephone call from Responsive Management researchers, who will be surveying students both before and after students complete the hunter education course for which they are signed up. The first surveys will be administered throughout September and October, prior to hunter ed. classes during those months; the follow-up surveys will be administered in January 2012, after the current hunting season.
Hunter education students from several other state programs will be contacted as part of the research study as well.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources has partnered with Responsive Management [3], a Virginia-based research firm, on a study examining motivations for the purchases of Apprentice Hunting Licenses and the most important “next step” guidance needed for these license holders to become lifelong hunters.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources would like to notify Apprentice Hunting License holders that they may receive a telephone call from Responsive Management researchers, who will be surveying license holders over the next several weeks. The survey will be conducted entirely by telephone and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Apprentice license holders in several other states will be contacted as part of the research study as well.
