Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center is pleased to announce a new
series of programs focusing on the development of hunting and fishing skills, and conservation knowledge.
Children, ages 17 and under, and their supervisors are invited to stay for the weekend, hunt or fish the property, and participate in a variety of skills-based and conservation-focused programs. Classes will include the appropriate basics of squirrel, deer, or turkey hunting or fishing, how to care for harvested game, and more. Hunter Ed classes will be offered for anyone who has not yet taken the course. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time set aside for hunting and fishing!
Participants will stay and eat at the beautiful conference center [1]located on the property. Adults and children over 16 must possess current hunting and fishing licenses (see current state hunting regulations [2]and fishing regulations [3]for more information).
