A mosaic of wetlands, mountain meadows, hardwood and longleaf pine forests, coastal dunes and salt marshes provide Georgia with a wealth of habitat for many different species of butterflies. The Butterflies of Georgia Checklist includes over 160 species that have been reported in Georgia along with page numbers for references and regions in which each species is found.
