Employee/Manager Self Service in TeamWorks (PeopleSoft)

Employee Self Service (ESS)

Employee Self Service (ESS) in TeamWorks allows employees to view their leave balances, personal information, paycheck information, benefits information and performance documents.

Access to ESS

Employees access ESS through the following URL:  https://route88.state.ga.us

  • Enter User ID (This is your 8 digit Employee ID #)
  • Enter Password (On your initial entry, enter your Social Security Number without dashes.)
  • Click Sign In

After clicking the Sign In tab, you will be prompted to change your password. This password must be eight characters long and must contain a number and a symbol.

Password Reset

You will also need to select three security questions along with the answers to the three questions. To access this feature after logging in to TeamWorks, use the following navigation:

  • Main Menu > My System Profile     
  • Click 'Change or setup forgotten password help'. 

If you forget your password, you can click ' Reset/Forgot your password?'. If  you answer these questions correctly, you will be able to reset your password without Help Desk assistance. This new password will be your password until you are prompted to change it in TeamWorks (PeopleSoft).

ESS Training Information

Employees may obtain training on ESS on the State Accounting Office website.

Prior to taking the training course, employees should view a PowerPoint presentation regarding taking the ESS Training Course. There is information in the presentation on how to use the various features offered in the ESS Training Course.

After viewing the PowerPoint presentation, it is now time to take the ESS Training Course.

Then click on the "Using Employee Self Service" heading in the left column to open the training course.

Manager Self Service (MSS)

TeamWorks (PeopleSoft) Manager Self Service (MSS) provides Managers with easy access to the information needed to manage their employees. Managers can only review employee information on the employees they supervise.

MSS Training Information

Managers may obtain training on MSS on the State Accounting Office website.

Prior to taking the training course, managers should view a PowerPoint presentation regarding taking the MSS Training Course. There is information in the presentation on how to use the various features offered in the MSS Training Course.

Changing / Re-Setting TeamWorks Password for ESS or MSS

When an employee needs to change their password in TeamWorks (PeopleSoft) or is locked out of their account and needs to reset their password, they should follow the instructions below:

TeamWorks ESS and MSS Access Issues

Employees experiencing issues with TeamWorks (PeopleSoft) ESS or MSS should contact the State Accounting Office (SAO) Customer Service Center at (404) 657-3956 or toll-free at 1-888-896-7771.
