There were 553 alligator hunters selected for the 2007 alligator quota hunt from 4391 applicants. Approximately ninety-three percent (90%) of selected alligator hunters were Georgia residents.  Twenty-five percent (25%) of alligator hunters were successful in harvesting an alligator.
