Cedar Creek Shooting Range will be the host location for an upcoming class designed to help introduce women to handguns, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division (WRD). This free event, Give It a Shot: Ladies Handgun 101, is a perfect opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence in handgun use, but be sure to register soon as space is limited!

  • Give It a Shot: Ladies Handgun 101: Tues. Sept. 26, 2017 (10 am – 2 pm): Limited to 10 Participants

This class will focus on those with little to no experience in operating a handgun. Upon completion, participants will understand, and can demonstrate, how to safely handle, operate, maintain and store a handgun. Attendees will only use .22 caliber handguns provided by WRD (participants will not need or be able to use personal handguns at this event).

Registration is required. Visit www.GoOutdoorsGeorgia.com, and search for the event. If you do not currently have a “Customer Account” at GoOutdoorsGeorgia, you will need to create one prior to registering for the class.
